The harmony in their marriage is lost. The bliss and joy that characterized their union is diminished and has rather turned into incessant quarrels and abuse. For Onome, the changes in her husbands attitude all seem too improbable. Her marriage means everything to her and is ready to endure the uneasiness that continues to get worse by every passing day, against the wishes of her mother. Onome remains clueless as to why her marriage is falling apart, but her search for answers might not be far fetched after all.
